Job summary

KAIROS, Inc. seeks an energetic Systems Engineer, Journeyman, to support Navy and DoD programs at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

You will provide systems engineering expertise across the lifecycle, from requirements to sustainment, across avionics, aircrew systems, and advanced defense capabilities. The role requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of relevant DoD experience, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

• At least three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support research, development, integration, testing, acquisition, fielding, sustainment, and modernization activities.
• Gather, analyze, document, track, and validate technical and performance requirements.
• Identify and implement solutions to engineering and programmatic challenges.
• Support system design reviews, engineering investigations, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor system integration, airworthiness, and operational effectiveness.
• Review lifecycle management documentation for supportability and sustainment.
