Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Journeyman Wireman apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years experience in the Wireman trade.
• Proficient in diagnostic testing and analysis of test results on equipment, apparatus and wiring.
• Valid Class A CDL and good driving record.
• Must pass a pre-qualifying skills test.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain substation equipment and wiring.
• Operate substation apparatus and perform tests on transformers and switchgear.
• Follow safety rules and company standards; may work long hours during emergencies.
