Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Journeyman Station Wireman to maintain, upgrade and repair generating equipment and related systems at our Casper facility. This role requires diagnosing tests, evaluating equipment condition and applying maintenance standards to ensure reliable operation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, four years of wireman experience, and must pass a pre-qualification skills test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Four years experience in the Wireman trade.
• Proficient in diagnostic testing and analysis of test results on equipment.
• Must pass a pre-qualifying skills test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade and repair generating station equipment, motors and switches.
• Evaluate equipment condition and establish acceptable maintenance standards.
• Install, wire, maintain and repair equipment such as capacitor banks, oil circuit breakers, transformers, relays.
