Job summary

PCL Industrial Construction Co. is hiring a Structural Ironworker Journeyman for the Ray, North Dakota project. Join a safety‑focused team at the Bison Generation Power Station and contribute to the fabrication, installation, and alignment of steel structures.

Expect a 5x10 work schedule, pay rate of $40.00–$42.00 per hour based on certification, and a $175 per day per diem if eligible. Benefits include health, 401(k), and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• NCCER certification preferred; OSHA 10/30 or Safety Essentials required.
• Experience with hand & power tools and safe operation in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Read blueprints and structural drawings to determine work requirements.
• Align, bolt, weld, and rivet steel components.
• Hoist steel beams and equipment using cranes and rigging.
• Fabricate and install steel structures and support systems.
• Perform layout and fit-up for structural assemblies.
• Cut and weld metal components with torches, plasma cutters, or welding
• Ensure alignment, torque, and weld quality meet specs and safety codes.
• Work at heights using fall protection, scaffolds, and lifts.
• Collaborate with crane operators, welders, and other trades for timely completion.
