Job summary

Gemba Automotive is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring safety and reliability. The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and ongoing learning as part of delivering high-quality service.

You will conduct inspections, document findings, and perform customer-authorized repairs aligned with diagnostic outcomes, while maintaining a clean, safe shop environment and pursuing ASE-certified knowledge.

Qualifications

• Candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues.
• Ability to document findings clearly and communicate with customers and advisors.
• Continuing education in automotive diagnosis and repair through ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections using the DVI system and share findings with the service advisor.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Replace brakes, tires, batteries, and other basic parts with precision.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, and other systems.
• Document all services, diagnostics, and parts in repair orders.
