Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience maintaining large commercial equipment with Universal CFC certification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of hand tools, equipment and testing devices for preventive maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain refrigeration racks and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Read blueprints for installations and service work.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Maintain OSHA and NFPA 70e safety standards on job sites.
• Work with little supervision and stay organized under pressure.
