Responsibilities

• Maintains simple job records and equipment service records.
• Assists Unit Supervisor in planning modifications and new installation projects.
• Checks gauges and performs preventive maintenance inspections.
• Verifies absence of refrigerant leaks and adds gas as needed.
• Installs, repairs, and replaces motors, thermostats, and valves.
• Overhauls refrigeration units by repairing or replacing worn parts.
• May transport sensitive medical supplies or equipment following risk protocols.
