Wrench Group in the Midwest is seeking a Plumbing Lead Installer to repair plumbing systems efficiently while delivering top-notch client experiences. The role emphasizes project profitability, strong communication, and a positive mindset to exceed expectations.

As a lead installer, you will perform installations, coordinate with technicians and sales, mentor apprentices, and promote service agreements, with a direct impact on company success.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumbing license is required.
• Minimum of 3 years field experience.
• Valid drivers license and ability to arrive early or stay late as workload requires.

Responsibilities

• Complete plumbing installations and related paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with Service Technicians, Sales, and Dig & Drain departments.
• Promote high quality craftsmanship and complete warranty information.
• Coach and train apprentice trainees.
• Promote service agreements and upsell other products or services.
• Build trusting relationships with clients through clear communication and competence.
• Identify and relay potential job leads to the Sales Department.
• Maintain timely communication with internal teams.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized.
• Complete required documentation and participate in ongoing training.

THE BIG TASK

The Plumbing Lead Installer is responsible for repairing plumbing systems in the most efficient manner with highest quality client experiences. What Will I do?

• Complete plumbing installations, corresponding invoices and work orders properly and completely and collect (COD) from clients.
• Clearly, effectively and timely communicate with Service Technician, Sales team member, Dig and Drain Department when needed.
• Promote and maintain high quality craftsmanship
• Complete required warranty information.
• Assist in coaching and training apprentice trainees.
• Promote the sale of other products, service, or work with each client including service agreements.
• Build a trusting relationship with each client through good communication skills and above average competence.
• Look for and turn in possible job leads to the Sales Department.
• Maintain communication with internal teams.
• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
• Properly complete required paperwork.
• Embrace and proactively seek out development opportunities through continued training (specifically weekly training meetings and special classes or seminars) and one-on-one coaching

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum three years field experience.
• Available to arrive early and/or stay late when workload requires.
• Journeymen Plumbing Licenses
