Job summary

AMPAM Parks Mechanical, Inc. is seeking experienced plumbers to coordinate, execute, and install all types of plumbing equipment for multifamily projects in San Diego. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect and repair systems, and install fixtures such as sinks and toilets.

You will work as part of a team to meet production deadlines and project milestones. The ideal candidate has a Journeyman’s license, 4 years in multifamily plumbing and at least 2 years in commercial plumbing,

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
4 years multifamily plumbing experience and 2 years in commercial plumbing.
Knowledge of UPC/plumbing codes.
Journeyman’s License, with at least 4 years of field plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
Assemble pipe sections using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering equipment.
Fill pipes or fixtures with water or air to detect leaks.
Review blueprints and building codes to determine work details and procedures.
Study building plans and inspect structures to plan pipe installations around obstructions.
Locate and mark pipe installation positions in structures.
