Job summary

Multi-Craft Contractors is seeking a qualified Plumber to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems in commercial and industrial settings. The role emphasizes safe work practices, adherence to codes, and precise execution on job sites.

You will perform installations with hand and power tools, test systems for leaks, and operate within an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Three years of plumbing experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills.
• Must monitor gauges and indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Current valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery in the performance of these essential duties
• Work with and around hazardous materials, as well as at heights and in confined spaces in the performance of these essential duties
• Drive a vehicle to various jobsites throughout working hours a. Maintain valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company policy
• Service plumbing
• On-call rotation
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for employee job performance
• Perform other duties as assigned
