Journeyman Plumber / HVAC Install Technician

Energy Services Technician for the Install team: Ensures the proper operation and performance of customers’ heating/air conditioning and/or refrigerant systems in a residential environment. Identifies, repairs, or replaces components as needed; provides information on proper equipment use; maintains inventory of materials necessary for service.

This role starts with an hourly pay rate of $49.53/hr based on holding a MA Journeyman Plumbing license. It offers additional bonus potential, guaranteed yearly pay increases, 40-hour work weeks, overtime (paid at time and a half), and benefits including a 401k with company matching, vacation, holiday pay, and more.

Responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating with dispatch and management to ensure timely work order completion.
2. Installing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and components.
3. Managing repair costs and minimizing inefficiencies.
4. Achieving first-time fix, productivity, and customer service goals.
5. Maintaining tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
6. Managing inventory and ensuring parts availability.
7. Responding to emergency situations.
8. Transporting tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites.
9. Working independently with good customer communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of electrical wiring for HVAC systems.

• Experience removing and installing domestic hot water heaters, furnaces, and boilers.
• Ability to install/repair gas and water piping.
