Qualifications

• Graduation from high school with a high school diploma or GED is required (plus related experience).
• Memphis and Shelby County Journeyman Plumber’s license and valid driver’s license required.
• Class A gas license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plumbing systems according to plans and codes.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Study blueprints to determine work areas and sequence of repairs.
• Inspect structures to avoid obstructions and weakening during piping work.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
