Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Plumber to design and install plumbing and mechanical systems, and to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, infrastructure, and HVAC systems.

You will work on-site at the Anschutz Campus in Aurora, Colorado, collaborating with clients, project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible plumbing experience in a construction or maintenance environment.
• Journeyman or Master plumber license required.
• Substitution: apprenticeship or higher-level coursework may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• State of Colorado Backflow Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and install plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, infrastructure, and HVAC systems.
• Repair pumps and handle water treatment for closed loops.
• Conduct utility locates and backflow prevention tasks.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure proper installation and operation of facility systems.
