Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled maintenance professional for our Atlanta/Austell, GA locations. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to facilities and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and aesthetics.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, a Journeyman plumbing license, and at least two years of plumbing experience. The position requires contributing to on-site operations and coordinating with management and contractors to keep facilities

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
2 years' experience in the plumbing trade.
Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing.
License in related trade in city/state of work.

Responsibilities

Assists in the operation of a facility.
Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Observes and documents signs of wear and tear.
Gathers capital expense information and recommends repair needs to prevent future issues.
Performs major and minor repairs using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
