Job summary

Walmart in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to assist in facility operations, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.

You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and participate in on-call rotations to support critical needs outside regular hours. Valid driver’s license and 2 years plumbing experience required.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• 2 years' experience in the plumbing trade.
• Journeyman plumber license in good standing in the state of work.
• License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation of a facility and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Inspect, repair, and document condition of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities.
• Order parts, track purchases, and submit warranty claims as needed.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and safety standards are followed.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical needs outside normal hours.
