Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. in Canton, OH is seeking a skilled commercial plumber with at least 3 years of experience to install, maintain and troubleshoot large-scale plumbing systems in fast‑paced environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or technical training in plumbing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing.
• Valid commercial plumbing license as required by local jurisdiction.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a commercial construction or maintenance environment.
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment, operate in confined spaces, and perform manual labor.
• Experience with medical gas systems, fire suppression systems, or hydronic heating.
• OSHA certification or other safety training.
• Familiarity with green building practices and energy-efficient systems.

Physical Demands

Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other HVAC equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those of medium work.

Work Environment

This job operates all environments, which includes extreme cold or heat depending on the time of year. Vehicles are used as the base of operations.
