Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an experienced plumber to read blueprints, install and repair water and drainage systems, and lead junior workers on site. You will coordinate with general contractors, ensure compliance with codes, and maintain documentation for inspections and safety audits.
The role requires strong math skills, license compliance, and the ability to work with a team under supervision to deliver high-quality installations.
Responsible for ensuring all assigned duties related to plumbing, daily quality control and safety activities, and facility housekeeping objectives are understood and followed, working under general direction of the Field Supervisor or Crew Foreman. Acts as resource and lead position for less experienced personnel.
Two years of trade school or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
Basic math and computer skills, mechanically inclined; working knowledge, understanding and ability to comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures, including use of tools such as saws, cutting and solder torches, benders, welders, and other equipment and operation(s) of forklift, man-lift or other vertical lifting equipment. Required to complete all required certifications and training for job level and show competency in assigned tasks under general supervision. General knowledge of construction disciplines. Ability to follow and understand technical instructions and specifications. Team oriented, flexible and able to work independently. Proficient at reading shop drawings and using all test equipment associated with troubleshooting installed equipment.
