Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, and pipe threaders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids.
• Remove and replace worn components and inspect work sites for obstructions.
• Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies; perform duties with a focus on quality and productivity.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.
