Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related equipment.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, threaders and benders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures with brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout and select pipe sizes and materials per specifications.
• Install automatic controls to regulate pipe systems and operate valves to shut off utilities as required.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure structural strength; replace worn components as needed.
