Job summary

Hilton Mechanical Contractors is seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team. Work will primarily be in shops and construction sites across Cartersville, GA and Alpharetta, GA, with travel to other sites as needed.

This hands-on role focuses on laying out piping, installing supports, and testing systems while adhering to codes and project specs. Candidates should have 1+ year of pipefitting experience, be able to read isometric drawings, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial mechanical work.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and mechanical plans.
• Strong fit-up and layout skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across Georgia.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and route piping from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and field conditions.
• Set hangers, supports, and anchors.
• Test piping systems for leaks and ensure compliance with codes and project specs.
• Learn new fabrication and fitting processes and techniques.
• Maintain consistent quality requirements.
• Operate and collaborate effectively under foremen.
• Work safely with rigging, lifting equipment, and other work permits.
• Coordinate with other trades on active construction sites.

We are a growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial piping, skid fabrication, and equipment installation. Our team works on a mix of shop-built systems and field projects, giving employees exposure to a variety of hands-on work. Overview

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team. Work will primarily be performed at shops and construction sites in Cartersville, GA and Alpharetta, GA. Travel to other jobsites and shops may be needed.

Candidates must be willing to travel to locations as needed.

Pay Range: $28/hr - $35/hr

• Lay out and route piping from isometric drawings, mechanical plans, and field conditions


• Set hangers, supports, and anchors
