Hilton Mechanical Contractors is seeking an Ironwork Foreman to lead a field crew on structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Based at our Alpharetta and Gainesville shops, you’ll coordinate lifts, read drawings, and ensure safe, on-schedule progress on active projects.
You’ll travel to job sites as needed, mentor journeymen and apprentices, and maintain production logs. Hourly pay ranges from $35 to $42 with 40–60 hour weeks and possible weekends. Benefits include health, dental, vision.

You’ll be responsible for daily production, crew direction, and keeping the job moving safely and on schedule.You will be based out of our Alpharetta and Gainesville Shops, but travel to active construction jobsites will be needed.
Candidates must be willing to travel to locations as needed.
Schedule: 40-60 hrs/week, possible weekends
Pay Range: $35/hr - $42/hr
5+ years of ironworker field experience in structural steel erection or heavy industrial work
2+ years in a foreman or lead role directing a crew
Proficient reading structural drawings and erection plans
Qualified to rig, signal, and direct crane picks;Rigging and signalperson certification
Competent welder in SMAW and FCAW structural processes
Journeyman Ironworker card
Experience on commercial or industrial construction projects
AWS D1.1 structural weld qualification
Experience working alongside mechanical and piping scopes
Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation and ability to travel
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Forklift, scissor lift, fall protection, or boom lift certifications
