Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced welder to join our field teams. You will read plans, interpret weld symbols, and perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, and GMAW welds on structural components and pipe systems.

The role requires adherence to safety programs, strict quality control, and collaboration with electricians, ironworkers, and pipefitters. This is a full-time on-site position with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project regulations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, weld symbols, and written instructions.
• Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW and other weld types per project needs.
• Prepare surfaces and select fillers per welding procedure specifications.
• Field install welds on structural components, duct work, and pipe sections.
• Coordinate with foreman and other trades to complete tasks safely.
• Adhere to safety rules and project quality control requirements.
