Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and supports per blueprints.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe using saws, torches, and pipe tools.
• Read blueprints and determine required equipment and tools.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation per specifications.
• Select pipe sizes and materials per specifications.
• Maintain and repair pipe systems and related equipment.
• Install automatic controls for pipe systems.
• Operate valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases.
• Inspect sites for obstructions and safety hazards.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance.
