Job summary

Anglicotech, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Physical Security Analyst to support JTDC operations across the Indo-Pacific. You will assess and implement physical security measures to protect facilities, assets and personnel in contested environments.

The role requires a US citizenship with a Secret clearance, a BA/BS in security or related field, and at least three years of DoD/Federal physical security experience. Travel to multiple locations is expected.

We are seeking a Journeyman Physical Security Analyst with immediate availability to support Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) operations in a highly dynamic, process‑driven environment. In this role, the analyst will ensure the secure and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and materiel across contested, degraded, and operationally constrained environments throughout the Indo‑Pacific region.

The analyst will safeguard JTDC facilities, assets, and personnel by assessing, developing, and implementing physical security measures that meet Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) standards. This work directly enhances Special Operations Command- Pacific’s (SOCPAC) ability to deter aggression, respond to crises, and support U.S. and partner nations by ensuring logistics operations remain protected, resilient, and mission‑ready.

As a key enabler of JTDC operations, the analyst will integrate physical security into logistics processes to maintain operational continuity and support sustainment objectives in both steady‑state and expeditionary conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on mission‑critical logistics and security operations across the Pacific theater.

Salary:

• Available salary ranges for these positions are dependent on position location, and based on the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. Salary ranges for each location are below:

Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

• Conduct routine physical security risk assessments for JTDC facilities, transportation routes, staging areas, and logistics nodes, identifying common vulnerabilities and recommending practical corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and applying mitigation measures to reduce identified risks and support secure, sustained operations in elevated‑threat environments.
• Monitor and evaluate security conditions related to cargo storage, staging, and distribution activities, recommending improvements based on observed trends.
• Review and validate the security posture of personnel and materiel movement routes, ensuring compliance with established physical security standards.

Security Planning and Implementation

• Implement established physical security measures and procedures, including access control, surveillance systems, perimeter protection, and intrusion detection equipment.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to secure JTDC operations, ensuring alignment with current policy and mission requirements.
• Support the development and execution of contingency plans to sustain physical security during emergencies or operational surges.
• Assist in integrating physical security requirements into facility layouts or modifications, contributing to the protection of personnel, equipment, and critical assets.
• Identify common physical security threats such as theft, tampering, or disruptions to logistics functions and recommend practical strategies to reduce exposure.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with government agencies, mission partners, and local security personnel to ensure physical security measures support operational objectives.
• Serve as a working‑level liaison between JTDC operations and external partners, helping align security procedures and resolve routine coordination issues.
• Provide physical security guidance and day‑to‑day support to JTDC personnel and contractors.

Training and Awareness

• Deliver basic physical security training and refresher briefings to JTDC staff, promoting awareness of threats and reinforcing proper protective measures.
• Contribute to building a security‑conscious workforce by supporting regular communication, updates, and reminders related to physical security practices.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Security Management, Logistics, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical security, risk management, or related fields within DoD or Federal agencies.
• Working knowledge of physical security systems, standard risk assessment methods, and established incident response procedures.
• Solid understanding of DoD and USINDOPACOM physical security regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in roles within or with countries in the USINDOPACOM region.
