We are seeking a Junior Physical Security Analyst with immediate availability to support Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) operations in a highly dynamic, process‑driven environment. In this role, the analyst will ensure the secure and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and materiel across contested, degraded, and operationally constrained environments throughout the Indo‑Pacific region.

The analyst will safeguard JTDC facilities, assets, and personnel by assessing, developing, and implementing physical security measures that meet Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) standards. This work directly enhances Special Operations Command- Pacific’s (SOCPAC) ability to deter aggression, respond to crises, and support U.S. and partner nations by ensuring logistics operations remain protected, resilient, and mission‑ready.

As a key enabler of JTDC operations, the analyst will integrate physical security into logistics processes to maintain operational continuity and support sustainment objectives in both steady‑state and expeditionary conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on mission‑critical logistics and security operations across the Pacific theater.

• Available salary ranges for these positions are dependent on position location, and based on the candidate's education, experience, and qualifications. Salary ranges for each location are below:
• Melbourne, Australia - $71,720 - $90,846
• Guam - $57,376 - $72,676
• Okinawa, Japan - $49,462 - $62,652
• Philippines (Subic Bay area) - $46,989 - $59,519
• Seoul, South Korea - $48,473 - $61,399

Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

• Assist with basic physical security risk assessments for JTDC facilities, transportation routes, staging areas, and logistics nodes under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Support the development and implementation of mitigation measures by gathering data, documenting observations, and helping apply established procedures.
• Monitor security conditions related to cargo storage, staging, and distribution activities, reporting any issues or trends to senior staff.
• Help review the security posture of personnel and materiel movement routes by following established checklists and standards.

Security Planning and Implementation

• Support the implementation of established physical security measures such as access control, surveillance systems, perimeter protection, and intrusion detection equipment.
• Assist in maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to JTDC security operations, ensuring documentation is accurate and organized.
• Contribute to contingency planning by preparing reference materials, documenting processes, and supporting senior staff during exercises or reviews.
• Help integrate physical security requirements into facility layouts or modifications by collecting information and providing administrative support.
• Identify and report potential physical security issues such as theft risks, tampering indicators, or disruptions to logistics functions.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate routine communication with government agencies, mission partners, and local security staff to support alignment of physical security procedures.
• Serve as an entry‑level liaison for JTDC operations, helping relay information and support the implementation of established security requirements.
• Provide basic physical security assistance and guidance to JTDC personnel and contractors by referencing and explaining established policies.

Training and Awareness

• Assist in delivering introductory physical security training and awareness materials to JTDC staff.
• Support efforts to promote security awareness by helping prepare briefings, updates, and communications.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required; must possess a Secret clearance.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Security Management, Logistics, International Relations, or a related field.
• Understanding of physical security, risk management, or related fields within DoD or Federal agencies.
• Understanding of physical security systems, standard risk assessment methods, and established incident response procedures.
• Understanding of DoD and USINDOPACOM physical security regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
