Job summary

Amcor in Neenah, Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Journeyman Millwright to join the maintenance team. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment to keep production safe and efficient. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts (6:30 AM–6:30 PM / 6:30 PM–6:30 AM) and working 3-4 shifts with days off.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Millwright card is required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and maintenance equipment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Install, modify, and align machinery, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring instruments and shop tools to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors and production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
