Job summary

ThinkTek LLC in Washington, DC seeks a Journeyman Management Analyst (Modeler) to bridge business analysis and QA for Federal IT projects. You will capture requirements, create process and system models, and document functional needs while ensuring accuracy, usability, and compliance.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, a BS in a related field, and 4+ years of BA/QA experience; strong skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Visio and ARIS are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum).
• 4+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Experience creating functional requirements, process models, and requirements documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Visio and ARIS.

Position Description

ThinkTek is seeking a Journeyman Management Analyst (Modeler) with a strong background in business analysis and quality assurance to support federal IT projects. The Modeler will work directly with stakeholders to capture requirements, create process and system models, and document functional needs. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between customers and developers while ensuring accuracy, usability, and compliance in delivered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
• Support facilitation of workshops with providing live development of functional requirements, process models, and requirements documentation.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure requirements are translated into working solutions.
• Independently and/or collaboratively produce high-quality deliverables that require little to no rework.
• Execute knowledge management activities in support of internal and external performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders of varying levels of expertise and provide clear, professional assistance.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (minimum).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Demonstrated experience creating functional requirements, process models, and requirements documentation.
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Visio and ARIS.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,030 – $115,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
