Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II (Journeyman) in Crystal Lake, IL to support a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and prevent downtime across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.

The role requires independent work, documentation in CMMS, and mentoring of junior technicians, with overtime opportunities and a strong focus on reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with minimal supervision.
• Reading electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems on production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, adjustments, lubrication, and component replacements.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and P&IDs.
• Navigate PLC and HMI systems to identify faults and alarms.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and complete work orders in CMMS.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following safety standards.
