Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faults and unusual operations for supervision.
• Diagnose, replace, repair, test, and adjust parts.
• Read manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety regulations and keep work areas clean.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLC controls, and wiring systems.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a journeyman electrician in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs.
• Experience with CMMS, conveyor systems, machinery.
• Licensed journeyman electrician preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and understanding of Ohm's law.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
