MSP Industries Corporation seeks a Journeyman Machine Repair Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild production and facility equipment in a forging environment. Focus areas include safely operating and maintaining forging presses, heaters, furnaces, conveyors, and lubrication systems.

Qualified candidates will have a state journeyperson card or apprenticeship completion, 5+ years in heavy industrial maintenance, and strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding,

Formación

• State-certified Journeyperson Machine Repair Card or documented completion of a recognized Machine Repair Apprenticeship Program.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in forging, metal forming, steel processing, automotive manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and fabrication, machine shop practices, precision alignment, blueprint and schematic interpretation, and industrial troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all safety regulations and use Lockout/Tagout procedures during maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain forging production equipment and support systems.
• Install, remove, align, level, and commission production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose wear and failure, repair bearings and gearboxes, and perform major repairs as needed.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Operate manual machine shop equipment and fabricate replacement parts as needed.
