Qualifications
- Journeyman Lineman training completed and certified.
- CDL license or ability to obtain one.
- 4+ years as Journeyman Lineman in a rural setting.
- 2+ years as Journeyman Serviceman.
- Meets examining board review of skills and experience.
- Post-offer physical capacity screening may be required.
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain distribution lines, street lights, transformers and related equipment.
- Install and remove meters; read and change meter charts.
- Investigate and handle customer service complaints, including radio interference.
- Collect delinquent accounts and inform customers of billing issues.
- Train and direct a trainee in the trade.
