Job summary

PacifiCorp in Ogden, UT is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, maintain and repair transmission and distribution lines, overhead and underground. You will operate line equipment, climb poles, work with bucket lifts, and ensure safety on energized and de-energized systems.

The role requires a Journeyman Lineman training program, Class A CDL, hot stick training, and the ability to pass Rocky Mountain Power exams. Training others in the trade may occur as well.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Lineman with formal training program.
• Must pass Rocky Mountain Power exam.
• Hot stick training and experience.
• Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair transmission and distribution lines.
• Operate switches, cutouts and grounding devices on de-energized lines and equipment.
• Climb poles and work with bucket lifts to construct or repair line equipment.
• Potentially train and direct a trainee in the trade.
