Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Journeyman Lineman in Salt Lake City, UT to install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution lines both overhead and underground. The role requires experience with line trucks, bucket lifts, hot sticks, and deep knowledge of transformer wiring.

The candidate must hold a Journeyman Lineman credential, complete a formal training program, pass Rocky Mountain Power tests, and possess a Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Journeyman Lineman status with formal training
• Pass board review and Rocky Mountain Power testing
• Hot stick training and experience required
• Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution electrical systems and equipment, overhead and underground.
• Operate line trucks, aerial devices, bucket lifts, and wiring equipment.
• Construct, repair, or maintain line equipment; string, splice, and sag wire on live or dead circuits.
• Operate switches and grounding devices; work on de-energized lines and equipment.
