Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Journeyman Lineman based out of Commerce City, Colorado to install, repair, and maintain electrical power lines across the Denver Metro Area.

The role requires CDL Class A, owning your own tools, Lineman certification or completion of Lineman school, and willingness to travel with potential overnight stays. Union environment with weekly pay and potential benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required and clean driving record.
• Must provide own tools and gear; rubber goods provided by company.
• Lineman certification or completion of lineman school.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and stay overnight if needed.
• Demonstrate climbing techniques and safety practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with high voltage electrical lines.
• Conduct routine inspections, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and facilities.
• Care and inspection of overhead and underground distribution structures, tools, gear and various equipment, construction and installation of poles and various components.
• Digging, guying of pole structures, maintenance procedures, conductor handling/rigging and splicing, setting and framing poles, switching and energizing various facilities.
• Follow strict safety standards.
