Job summary

Entergy Arkansas is seeking skilled linemen for installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground primary line facilities and related equipment. The role requires the ability to climb poles, operate bucket and derrick trucks, and respond to emergencies with on-call availability.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL or ability to obtain one, strong safety awareness, and experience leading teams.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lead and direct other linemen and plan work safely.
• Experience with safety policies and procedures and working around energized lines.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and maintain OH/UG primary line facilities and secondary services.
• Install transformers and wiring for transformer banks and regulators/capacitors/reclosers.
• Drive various trucks and operate equipment such as bucket and digger derrick trucks.
• Read job prints, identify materials, and climb poles in open areas and energized lines.
• Be available for on-call, emergency response, and overtime as needed.
