Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. is hiring a Class A / Journeyman Lineman for energy services in Lafayette, IN. The role focuses on aerial and ground electric work, installing and maintaining overhead and underground distribution systems, and contributing to safety and teamwork on-site.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of journeyman experience, a CDL-A, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Experience performing energized and de-energized line work required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and CDL-A strongly required.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain safety certifications.
• Ability to climb poles and work at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair overhead distribution systems.
• String and install distribution wires and insulators, transformers, switches, and other equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and related utility equipment safely.
• Read construction drawings and work orders; follow safety standards and procedures.
• Assist in storm response, on-call rotations, and after-hours restoration work.
