Xcel Energy is seeking a Journeyman Lineman in Sterling, CO to perform duties on overhead and underground electric distribution systems. The role requires commitment to safety and readiness for emergency response.

Candidates must have a Journeyman Lineman certification, an apprenticeship, a valid CDL Class A, and be willing to live within 40 minutes of the Sterling Service Center. Starting pay is $63.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Lineman certification and completed apprenticeship.
• Valid Class A CDL with Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform lineman duties on overhead and underground electric distribution systems.
• Respond to emergency callouts after hours and weekends.
• Live within 40 minutes/40 miles of Sterling Service Center.
