Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations is seeking Journeyman Linemen for assignments in Commerce City, CO and the Denver Metro area. You will perform high voltage electrical line work, maintenance, and installation on distribution systems, climbing poles, and using company-provided or personal tools as required.

Qualified applicants have a valid CDL Class A license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel including overnight stays. Per-Diem is offered for travel beyond the area.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a valid CDL- Class A driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Travel to various job site locations is required and may warrant overnight stays for long or short periods of time.
• Per-Diem offers for travel outside area under IRS guidelines.
• Previous experience in lineman work or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and documentation practices are important.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn and to function as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Must provide your own tools and gear; rubber goods are provided by the company.
• Perform tasks associated with high voltage electrical lines and distribution structures.
• Maintenance: routine inspections, modification, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
• Construction/Installation: climbing, inspecting poles and components, and handling gear and equipment.
• Demonstrate skills in digging, guying, conductor handling/rigging and splicing, and energizing facilities.
