Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with relevant field experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist craftsman with setup and preparation of work.
• Follow directions from superintendents, foremen and other experienced crew.
• Perform duties with safety as the first priority.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Read warning signs, operating instructions for equipment, and jobsite safety rules.
• Learn to observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards.
