Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with specialized HVAC training.
• Minimum of four years HVAC experience required.
• State of Iowa Journeyman or Master license and large commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and meet company insurance requirements, plus CFC class II certification.
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Some work will be from ladders and scaffolding; ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Journeyman level HVAC work in construction, alteration, and repair of fixed and movable systems.
• Conduct daily monitoring and preventative maintenance on critical systems and equipment.
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing HVAC and refrigeration systems.
