Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with HVAC technical school training.
• 7 years commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and reports.
• Ability to write routine reports and simple correspondence.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License and liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform overall commercial HVAC maintenance support for all county buildings.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems using gauges and test equipment.
• Log data for completed work orders accurately and timely.
• Install refrigeration piping and perform low voltage wiring and controls terminations.
• Operate building automation systems and adjust control settings.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
