Job summary

Walmart Fort Worth is seeking a maintenance technician to support the operation of the WM Supercenter. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and coordinate with managers and contractors to keep facilities safe and functional.

The role requires the ability to diagnose issues, use hand and power tools, and respond to emergencies. On-call rotation occurs every 4–6 weeks, and the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• 2 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
• Licensed Journeyman Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
• License in related trade in city/state of work.
• Preferred: completion of a 2-year vocational/technical program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in facility operation and maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and inspect equipment.
• Repair facilities and equipment using multiple crafts and tools.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond to on-call rotations and emergencies when needed.
