Dallas Water Utilities is seeking an Electronic Technician to perform installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment across water pumping stations and related systems. The role requires field testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure reliable operation.

Ideal candidates have FCC knowledge, experience with traffic signal controllers, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of experience in installation, testing, diagnosis, and/or repair of electronic or related electrical equipment.
• Associate degree or higher in electrical/electronic technology meets education/experience requirements.

Mansioni

• Evaluates performance and reliability of electronic equipment and conducts testing, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Repairs and replaces defective electronic equipment such as communication equipment, traffic signal lights, sounds, and related components.
• Prepares documentation and maintains records of maintenance activities; schedules and monitors workload; ensures supplies and equipment are available for assignments.
