Pearce Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Journeyman to join our team in the Virginia/Alexandria region. You will work on UPS power systems, generators, EV charging installations, and critical electrical infrastructure across data centers and commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman license, 5+ years in commercial/industrial electrical work, and a strong grasp of NEC and safety practices. Travel regionally and contribute to safety-first project execution.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific or reciprocal).
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with critical power systems, data centers, or EV infrastructure preferred.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to read drawings and perform layout independently.
• Proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and installation practices.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel regionally; DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/industrial environments.
• Read and interpret one-line diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning of UPS systems, generators, and EV charging stations.
• Perform electrical testing, startup, and system verification.
• Ensure NEC/code compliance and company procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Mentor apprentices and support workforce development.
