Job summary

Crowder Construction Co. is seeking an Electrical Mechanic/Journeyman/Lead Electrician to install, connect, and service electrical and control wiring across our heavy construction projects in the Southeast.

You will read site plans, install conduits, and supervise wiring work with a crew. The role requires hands-on electrical expertise, knowledge of safety standards, and the ability to coordinate with craft teams on multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
• Ability to work within precise tolerances and adhere to code standards.
• Experience installing and repairing wiring, controls, and related components.
• Capable of estimating materials and coordinating with team to avoid waste.

Responsibilities

• Plan installations to minimize waste and ensure future maintenance access.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints for wiring installations.
• Install and connect wiring, lighting, and power equipment.
• Supervise or pull wiring through conduit with a helper where needed.
• Splice wires and connect to fixtures and equipment.
• Test circuits for safety and compatibility with components.
