Job summary

Crowder Construction Company is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to interpret drawings and perform electrical installations on our civil projects in the Southeast. You will ensure safe, code-compliant electrical work across site plans, floor plans, and detail drawings, coordinating with the craft team.

The role requires precise measurement, conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting skills, with travel expectations for multi-state opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret electrical drawings, site plans, floor plans and detail drawings.
• Experience installing and routing wiring and conduit per electrical codes.
• Ability to read and follow specifications, perform precise measurements and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan new or modified electrical installations to minimize material waste and ensure future maintenance access.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit and components.
• Pull wiring through conduit with helper, connect to lighting and power equipment.
• Install control and distribution equipment such as switches and panels.
• Test circuitry for safety and compatibility using testing instruments.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and determine adjustments or replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or systems.
