Job summary

Crowder, established in 1947, seeks an Electrical Journeyman to interpret drawings, install conduit and wiring, and assemble control panels at our Southeast projects. You will work safely and in compliance with local codes, coordinating with craftworkers. Travel may be required; own hand tools are needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Able to pass a drug test
• Legally eligible to work in the US
• Must have own transportation to and from jobsite daily
• Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools)
• May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities)

Responsibilities

• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
• Pull wiring through conduit with assistance.
• Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and equipment using hand tools.
• Install control and distribution equipment such as switches and panels.
• Test circuitry and equipment for safety and function.
• Observe equipment in operation and perform adjustments or replacements as needed.
• Troubleshoot or repair faulty equipment or systems.
