Must Have The Following To Apply:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Unrestricted driver’s license, free of moving violations
• State Electrical Journeyperson license
• Ability to meet company employment requirements, including passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR if driving for the company
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, and standing 8-10 hours per day

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the Journeyperson Electrician include working with the Electrical Field Operations Manager to coordinate electrical projects, ensuring efficient use of resources, planning, and organization to meet or beat project budgets. The role involves assisting as the Electrical Lead, ensuring quality, safety, and training of crew members, and demonstrating proficiency in all duties.

• Attend pre-construction and coordination meetings as requested
• Report to and work closely with the Electrical Field Operations Manager
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Work with local officials to ensure compliance with regulations
• Stage and select materials based on project needs
• Lay out and mark work areas according to drawings
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with other crew members for continuous workflow

Planning and Safety Activities

• Set personal production goals in coordination with apprentices
• Review safety protocols and develop Job Safety Analyses (JSA)
• Ensure all tools, materials, and information are ready before work begins
• Develop crew schedules and resource plans with management
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Participate in safety programs and report hazards or incidents
• Use proper safety equipment at all times
