Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is hiring a full-time Electrician (Journeyman or Wireman) for our Boston area location in Peabody, MA. The role focuses on wiring, installing, and maintaining standby generator systems for residential and light commercial projects.

The candidate should hold a Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license with at least 2 years of electrical experience and a solid knowledge of the NEC. Training on Generac systems is available, and a company truck is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman status.
• Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
• AC and DC electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable with tools, conduit benders, and test meters.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install Standby Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches.
• Conduct Electrical/Generator service calls.
• Work on residential and light commercial generator systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.
