Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a skilled electrician to perform routine inspections and maintenance on district electrical systems, including power, transformers, TVSS, VFDs, lighting, and PA systems. The role supports after-hours emergencies and may require flexible hours or shifts.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 years of electrical experience, and ability to read blueprints and manuals. Colorado Journeyman license and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years electrical experience.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Must meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work independently performing preventive and routine maintenance on District electrical systems.
• Completes departmental reports, documentation and work orders.
• Troubleshoots, installs and repairs intercom systems.
• Performs code-required maintenance, testing and inspections of facility electrical systems; assists with inspections and fixes deficiencies.
• Endorses parts inventory and coordinates with parts manager.
• Collaborates with electricians on large projects.
• Shares on-call rotation for department.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
